POLEKO 2007: Update

ENVITECH-Net at POLEKO 2007. The POLEKO International Ecological fair is scheduled for the days of 20-23 November 2007 in Poznan, Poland.  Our Members as well as everybody interested are welcome to benefit from a variety of opportunities and events  co-organized and/or  provided by ENVITECH-Net  at POLEKO 2007 include:

The EcoInnoTech brokering events and seminar
20-22 November, Hall III

The Event is organised in cooperation with Innovation Relay Center – Central Poland  and includes:

• a two-part seminar is scheduled for Tuesday, 20th  November, Hall III.

Part one of the seminar is aimed at providing the overall background on eco-innovation development and funding opportunities in Poland including presentations on Environmental Technologies Action Plan  and related policies in Poland and in Europe alongside with such funding sources and FP7, CIP, the Structural Funds etc.

Part two of the seminar is a practical workshop on developing applications to Structural Funds for eco-innovation related projects. For more details consult the attached agenda

• the EcoInnoTech brokering meetings are scheduled for Thursday and Wednesday 21-22 November, Hall III.

The objectives for this event are to facilitate matching with Polish but also foreign business and research partners. Registration for this event is made on-line, the technology profiles submitted  by Polish partners  will be also used for developing a catalogue that will be included on a CD developed jointly with IRC and POLEKO. Poster Session, 20-23 November, Hall III

The Poster Session will accompany the EcoInnoTech brokering events, displayed in a popular Hall III will serve as a perfect opportunity to present the research accomplishments of your organisation related to environmental protection and eco-innovations. The Poster Session is organised in cooperation with the Institute of Construction Mechanisation and Rock Mining in Warsaw. Research organisations are also welcome to provide their promotion materials. If you are interested in presenting a poster, use the attached registration form and instructions – in Polish. Organisations which registered before 10 October will be listed in the POLEKO 2007 catalogue.

ENVITECH-Net Stand at POLEKO 2007, Hall V

We welcome to visit our stand shared with the Polish Platform on Environmental Technologies and the Institute for Ecology of Industrial Areas. ENVITECH-Net Members  were asked to prepare  multimedia presentations which will used for display at  our stand on a 50” LCD  screen. We will be also presenting promotion materials prepared and submitted by  ENVITECH-Net  Members.

A CD catalogue "Science for the Environment"

This unique catalogue is developed in cooperation with POLEKO and IRC-Central Poland . The interactive catalogue will include short profiles of Polish research organisations active in the area of environmental protection and environmental technologies presenting the character of activities their conduct, their experiences in R&D national and international projects, special achievements e.g. patents and awards as well as all relevant contact details.  As a separate PDF document, a collection of the technology offers provided for the EcoInnoTech brokering meetings by Polish organisations will be included on the CD.

The CD catalogue will be distributed among POLEKO exhibitors
as well as during the POLLUTEC Horizons 2007 Fair in Paris and in Monachium.
